Kefir is a delicious probiotic drink, useful for improving gut microflora, if taken regularly (e.g. each morning). It is made with kefir ‘grains’, comprising a mother culture that digests sugar in a fermentation process. The easiest way to make it is to use a kefir starter kit. These are readily available online.
Oh man. I just made possibly the best soup ever. It was SO GOOD! I was feeling lazy and couldn’t be bothered to follow a recipe so I just chucked some stuff in the soup maker. I’m even thinking of stopping writing this blog and going to get a third bowl of the stuff! By the way, if you haven’t got a soup maker, fear not, it’s almost as easy with a pan and a blender.
I am loving these tasty little broccoli bites at the moment! They are so quick and simple to make! These are great for snacking on. Try having them before or after a workout to keep you going or if you’re going to go more than 5-6 hours between meals.
Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl then roll bite-sized pieces of the mixture into balls. Place the balls on the prepared baking tray and bake for 25 minutes or until browned. Enjoy!
