A breath test to measure the extent of bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine (SIBO). This test can detect both hydrogen and methane producing bacteria. You will receive the test kit to the address provided within 2 working days. You will complete the test at home and post back to the laboratory. You must avoid probiotics, antibiotics (unless taking long-term) and anti-microbial medications or supplements, for 14 days prior to completing the test. You must also alter you diet slightly immediately before taking the test. Instruction are provided within the test kit.
The cost of this test includes a 60 minute consultation, which can be delivered in clinic, or over the phone or Skype.
