Recipe: Immunity-Boosting Tonic

At this time of year everyone seems to have the sniffles. The basis to a strong immune system is good nutrition! You should ensure that you are avoiding nutritional deficiencies where possible. If you’re finding that you’re having frequent coughs and colds, it’s well worth getting your Vitamin D levels checked by your GP.

Also, if you are a premenopausal female, there’s a possibility you could be low on iron too, so get that checked whilst you’re there!

In the meantime, if you feel like you need a pick-me-up, or maybe you’re trying to fend off a bug, this immunity- boosting tonic may be just the ticket.
