Questions about testing

1. How do I prepare for the tests?

You’ll receive detailed instructions with your kits, but in general:

The urine test (Metabolomix+) should be taken first thing in the morning on a day when you’re not menstruating or unwell.

The finger-prick* blood test is also done at home, we recommend doing it in the morning and staying well hydrated.

Both are easy to follow, and we’re here if you need support

*[UK ONLY] If for any reason a finger-prick collection doesn’t work for you, we can provide a venous blood kit instead, which you can take to a local clinic for a blood draw. Or we can arrange for a nurse to visit you to complete the blood draw.

** North American Clients will need to visit a local lab to have their blood drawn - no finger prick option is available.

2. Are the tests difficult or painful?

Not at all. The blood test is a simple finger-prick, most people compare it to using a glucose monitor. The urine test just requires collecting a sample after waking. No invasive procedures.

3. What if I’ve already done tests with my GP or privately?

Great, please share them with us. But this package goes deeper. The Metabolomix+ and blood panel assess systems that GP tests often miss: nutrient function, detoxification, mitochondrial health, inflammation patterns, gut ecology, and more.

And unlike many private providers, we interpret them in the context of your symptoms and story - not just the lab ranges.

4. How long does it take to get results back?

Typically 3 weeks after you send your samples to the lab. We’ll be in touch as soon as your results are ready to book your consultation. In the meantime, you'll have some important steps to follow to get the core foundations in place.

5. How long is the programme?

The Nourish Method runs for 6 months, giving you time to heal, integrate, and create sustainable change — not just quick fixes.

6. How do the sessions work?

You’ll have six private 1:1 sessions (or unlimited if you choose VIP), plus access to weekly group coaching calls via Zoom. You’ll also receive progress check-ins, messaging support between sessions, and lifetime access to our core modules.

7. When are the group calls - what if I can’t make them?

The calls are Wednesdays at 7pm. If you can't make them, no problem — all calls are recorded, and you’ll be able to submit questions in advance. Many women find the replays just as valuable as attending live.

8. Is it all online?

Yes! We work with clients all over the UK & North America*!

9. I’ve tried so many things — how do I know this will be different?

You're not alone. Most of our clients felt the same before they joined. The difference here is that we go deep — using testing, personalisation, and ongoing support to stop the trial-and-error cycle for good. This isn’t a plan you follow — it’s a process you transform through.

10. I’m not sure I have the time right now…

That’s exactly why we focus on what’s realistic. You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight — we’ll meet you where you are, and build step by step. Most women gain time once their energy returns and their mind feels clearer.

11. I feel guilty investing in myself…

So many women feel this. But the truth is — when you feel better, everything improves. Your work, your relationships, your capacity to show up for others. This isn’t selfish. It’s foundational.

12. What if I don’t need to lose weight — can I still join?

Absolutely. Many clients come to us for support with fatigue, gut health, anxiety, perimenopause symptoms, or long-standing health issues. This programme is about restoring balance and wellbeing, not just changing the number on the scale.

13. I already have a really good diet and don't eat any processed foods, plus I workout regularly. How is this going to help?

This is the case for many of the women that join The Nourish Method. While you may be eating really nutritious foods, the balance may not be optimal to best support your body. Further to this, food is the foundation but not the only factor. We'll be working on a lot more than just food. This is also why we runs tests. Because, sometimes no amount of 'healthy eating' will address the underlying imbalances that may be causing stubborn weight. We may need to use short term supplements, functional foods and/ or lifestyle adjustments to properly address these imbalances.

14. I've got a holiday/ travel/ big event coming up. Should I wait until after?

Absolutely not!! One of the reasons why The Nourish Method is 6 months long, is to help account for these types of 'interruptions'. In any 6 month period, you will likely have holidays, vacation or work travel, and it's super helpful to have our team of experts on hand to help guide you through this.

Another important thing to remember is that it takes up to 3 weeks for your test results to return once you send off the samples, so if you have a holiday in the first month or so, why not start now and get those tests underway, so that when you return, you're results will be ready (or closer to being ready) and you'll be closer to getting your individual plan!

15. What happens if I change my mind - can I get a refund?

We offer a 14-day cooling-off period in line with UK consumer law. This means you have 14 calendar days from the date of purchase to change your mind and receive a refund.

However, due to the extensive admin involved in onboarding and removing individuals from the programme, a £100 cancellation fee will be charged.

Further to this, this if you request cancellation after you have already returned your test samples and/or booked a consultation, your refund will also be minus lab processing fees and/or consultation fees.
